Dr. Hyun-Jung (Helen) Choi is a Professor in the Department of Hotel Management, Tourism Division at Baekseok University, Cheonan-si, South Korea. She earned her doctoral degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Her research interests include human resource management, service management, ESG practices in the hospitality industry, and tourist behavior in tourism. She has been serving as a reviewer for SSCI journals such as the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management and Tourism Management for more than a decade.

Dr. Choi has also served as the Head of the Academic Committee and as an editorial board member in major academic associations in the hotel and tourism field in South Korea. Recognized as a young and mid-career researcher, she has been awarded competitive research grants from the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) for many years. In addition, she has received Best Paper Awards from leading academic journals in South Korea.
