Dr Pola Wang is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Hospitality and Tourism at Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand. She also serves as Industry Partnership Leader, Work-Integrated Learning Leader, and is a researcher with the Centre for Robotics and Vision. Her work connects academic learning with industry practice, with a focus on student employability and applied research.

Her research centres on two core areas: artificial intelligence in hospitality, especially its impact on service delivery and workforce transformation; and corporate digital responsibility, including data governance and ethical technology use. She also maintains interests in leadership, cross-cultural management, and gender equity in service contexts. Dr Wang has published in leading international journals and supervises PhD students working on digital innovation, responsible technology adoption, and inclusive leadership.
