Dr Eerang Park is a senior lecturer in tourism at Edith Cowan University, Western Australia. She holds a doctorate degree in hotel and tourism management from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and received a master’s degree from the George Washington University. Since receiving her doctoral degree, Dr Park has held academic positions at universities across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.

Dr Park is a leading researcher in the field of food tourism studies. Her research investigates the complexities and dynamics of food, travel, and society from multi-stakeholder perspectives. She has been involved in multiple international research projects on community engagement and rural sustainable development, food tourist experience, and social sustainability of food tourism in Thailand, China, South Korea, and Japan. Her recent research projects focus on place change, foodscape, and food media in relation to gastronomic tourism in emerging Asian tourism platforms and discourses. She is a co-editor of 2075 – The Future(s) of Food Tourism (2025), Handbook on Food Tourism (2024), and Food Tourism in Asia (2019).
